SEPA Decision: The Town of Friday Harbor has determined that this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. The determination was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2). The lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days. Comments must be submitted to the Agency Contact no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 7, 2021.

Description of Proposal: The non-project action is amending Friday Harbor Municipal Code Title 16, Subdivisions, to provide for an alternative method of dividing land as authorized by RCW 58.17.035 and by RCW 58.17.040(4) and (7).

Notice is hereby given that the Community Development and Planning Department has received an application for a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit and State Environmental Protection Act Checklist for the following project: 


Project Description: Renovate an existing 3-story building and decks; maintain size, shape, and height of existing building and decks.  Replace windows, doors, siding, and decks.  Maintain existing driveway and parking area.  Repair or replace existing posts and foundation supporting the building.
