Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the Town of Friday Harbor, 60 Second Street, up to 12:00 PM; local time on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the Park and Reed Street Sidewalk Improvements.

Construction of approximately 485 LF of concrete curb and gutter, new 5-foot and 6-foot-wide concrete sidewalk, new concrete driveway approaches, and stormwater improvements.

The Work shall be substantially complete within 25 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Bid Documents for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Friday Harbor, Washington.

The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, money order, or bid bond payable to the "Town of Friday Harbor" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid.

Bid Documents may be examined at the office of the Town of Friday Harbor, or the office of the Project Engineer, Gray & Osborne, Inc.  Bid Documents are available through ARC Document Solution and Northwest Contractors Network. Printed sets may be obtained at their office (2730 Occidental Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98134, Tel 206-622-6000) for the cost of reproduction. Full size drawings are also available on request. Upon timely request, documents may be shipped or delivered for a non-refundable fee. Financing of the Project has been provided by Town of Friday Harbor, Washington and the Transportation Improvement Board. The Town of Friday Harbor expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to Award the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interests of the Town.
