NOTICE: Due to the I-5 traffic disruption in Burlington we
suggest the following alternate routes.
Directions to the Washington State Ferries
Anacortes Terminal: If you are coming by car and Washington State
Ferry, the mainland terminal which serves Friday Harbor is located in Anacortes,
Washington, 80 miles northwest of Seattle.
If you are coming from the south: Follow I-5 north from Seattle, take
Exit 221 and follow Fir Island Road to Best Road (north) to Highway 20.
Highway 20 to Anacortes.
If you are coming from the north: Follow I-5 south
from Bellingham, take Exit 230 to Highway 20. Highway 20 to Anacortes.
Once you are in Anacortes,
take a left on 12th Street (Safeway will be on the right), then follow the signs
to the ferry terminal and ticketing booths.
