Boards and Commissions assist and advise departments and special groups. Some work more closely with various departments than others. The Town is always looking for people interested in serving on a Board or Commission.
Although there is no monetary compensation associated with serving on a Board or Commission, your participation will provide for a better form of government.

Friday Harbor Arts Commission
The Friday Harbor Arts Commission (FHAC) exists to support excellence, vitality, diversity, and accessibility of the arts as essential to the quality of life and cultural enrichment for town residents and visitors.

Historic Preservation Review Board
The Board considers and recommends measures and incentives that will encourage and foster preservation of historic structures, sites, or districts, and conducts design review for construction projects in the Historic District.
